A 1-2 player strategy puzzler where you take turns to reach a target score by building paths with your numbered tiles.

The rules of the game are simple: Each tile can be connected to other tiles to make connections. You can link tiles together with the same number or a sequence of numbers, and you can create loops.

You can also block your opponents path with special Rainbow tiles, use abilities to improve your position on the board, or place hidden traps that only you can see...

Features:

  • Online Multiplayer.

  • Offline vs CPU with 10 difficulty levels.

  • 3 characters so far, another 3 to come soon.

  • 6 abilities, more to come soon.

  • 3 items, more to come soon.

  • 5 maps, with many more maps planned.

This game is currently still in early development and will be free up until final release. At that point the demo will remain available with full access to multiplayer (which will always support crossplay with the full version).

Bugs, feedback or any words of encouragement (development is hard!) can be either sent to [email protected] or you can twitter at https://twitter.com/spectragate

A new bit of artwork for a new character who will be in the game soon!

Cascade Cafe now has a website! It's been a while since I made a simple css website, so it was pretty fun to make.

As always, the latest build will also be here on GameJolt as well.

Give it a try, I'd love to hear comments on what everyone thinks so far :)

The tutorial finally got an update. The old plain floating dialog box against a blurry placeholder background is gone. I hope nobody got too attached to it.

The first steps of adding a bootup sequence to the board game. The 'End Turn' animations have also been updated, removing more of the old UI and moving it into the LCD screen.
